A tanker conveying 32,000.00 litres of fuel lost control, rammed into pavement on bridge in kpakungu, Minna Niger State. The fuel spilled to various channels and canals within the community. The NEMA (MOO) team led by Assistant Coordinator Mr Abdulrazaq Musa and key stakeholders (NSEMA, Fire Service, FAAN, VIO, FRSC, NSCDC, Police Air Force - Quick response team, Red Cross, Commissioners (works & information), etc) were on ground to avert possible fire disaster.
Although no life was lost as the casualties were evacuated to hospital for treatment. And the tanker was removed from the scene to ease traffic jam..
